Born in Provo Utah, raised in Phoenix, 59th Ave and Thomas
Purple Daisies is her company, also teaches and fends through the company, gives her the flexibility to be there for family

Her mom is Sharon Schamber, and has two brothers
Cristy graduated from Barry Goldwater HS
First degree at U of A, BS in family in studies, post-bach in elementary Ed
Lives in Tempe with her husband and three kids, 8,11,13
Began quilting at 25, but pretty much sewing since birth!
Both of her great grandmothers were quilters but grew up apart from them
Interested in learning and passing on skills and old traditions
First quilt was all hand pieced! All done by hand
Her style, everything! Clean lines, graphic look, appliqué, traditional is where her heart is!
